HW-J100 Conveyor
The HW-J100 is a linking conveyor, also known as a buffer station, built by HWGC, a China SMT machine manufacturer. This PCB handling equipment connects the machines of an SMT production line - printer, chip mounter, reflow oven, AOI - and also serves as a buffer, inspection, testing or manual component placement station. It transports PCBs from 50 mm to 400 mm wide on an anti-static flat belt at a conveying height of 900±20 mm, with a 1 m rail length and double lead-screw rail width adjustment. Its adjustable speed control lets operators balance board flow between machines that work at different cycle times, while the SMIMA interface integrates the conveyor with standard line control systems. The result is smooth, jam-free board flow across the PCB assembly line, with extra buffer capacity exactly where a line tends to bottleneck.

SMT Industry News
Smart factory and Industry 4.0 integration is spreading across SMT lines, with MES connectivity, real-time process data and autonomous logistics now common requirements. In this context, simple-looking linking equipment matters more than ever: conveyors with standardized interfaces such as SMIMA let the line controller track board positions, coordinate stop-and-go between machines and collect traceability data at every buffer point. Equipment that supports standard signal-voltage interfaces therefore helps factories add MES capabilities without expensive retrofits. The same direction was visible at NEPCON Asia 2026 in October 2026, where autonomous material handling and AMR robots stood alongside next-generation SMT placement systems, confirming that connected board logistics is now part of the mainstream equipment roadmap. As PCB assembly lines grow longer and more automated, buffer conveyors that smooth out speed differences between machines prevent jams and idle time.
Applications
The HW-J100 fits between any machines on an SMT production line: between solder paste printer and chip mounter, mounter and reflow oven, or after AOI inspection. It also works as a manual operation station for odd-form component insertion, touch-up soldering and quality checks, with an optional anti-static work table and lighting device for operator comfort. Because rail length and stop-board quantity can be customized, factories can size the buffer to the exact gap between two machines. Suitable for electronics manufacturing, LED lighting lines and PCB assembly workshops, this linking conveyor is a low-cost way to keep board flow continuous while gaining buffer capacity and line-control connectivity from a China SMT machine manufacturer.
